How does the Live account work?
The Live account is the final stage of every Savius program — a real-capital account you trade once you've proven a consistent edge. Its core rules are the same whether you arrive from Instant Funded Evolution or from the Savius Evaluation; only a few parameters differ by program.
One Live account — and it replaces everything else
You can hold one Live account per trader. Reaching the Live stage deactivates all of your other active challenges — every Timed Evaluation and every funded account, across both Instant Funded Evolution and the Savius Evaluation. Once you are Live you cannot start or buy any new challenge.
The Live account is separate from your funded-account cap: it does not occupy one of your funded slots, because by the time you go Live those accounts are already closed.
How you get there
The trigger depends on your program: 3 consecutive payouts on Instant Funded Evolution, or reaching 3× the profit target on the Savius Evaluation. On the Savius Evaluation the challenge auto-deactivates at that third checkpoint; on Instant Funded Evolution the move includes a verification step (a review of your trading logs and a call with our team). Either way the final migration decision is at Savius's sole discretion — we may also migrate you earlier based on a holistic assessment of your edge, and no single threshold guarantees it. See your program's FAQ for the exact flow.
Conditions on the Live account
- No profit target, no consistency rule, no payout cap, no time limit.
- Trading during news is allowed.
- Payouts every two weeks.
- A dedicated risk manager may issue binding directives (maximum position sizes, risk parameters); continued non-compliance can lead to suspension or liquidation.
What depends on your program
The profit split, the drawdown model and the base funding are set by the program your Live account comes from:
| Instant Funded Evolution | Savius Evaluation | |
|---|---|---|
| Profit split | 80 / 20 | 90 / 10 |
| Drawdown | Full allocated Live balance | Trailing end-of-day drawdown, 40% of live capital |
| Base funding | $2,000–$4,000 by tier | $3,000 ($50K) / $4,000 ($100K) |
Profit buffers you accumulated toward Live carry over per account category — the category is fixed by the account that triggers Live — up to a $10,000 aggregate funding cap (the cap applies to the carried buffers — the base funding is separate). For the funding tiers and how buffers work, see How is the Live Account funded? (Instant Funded Evolution) or How is the Live Account funded on the Savius Evaluation?.
